Our Project Overview
A grant-funded conservation initiative aimed at establishing captive-rearing capacity for Eastern hellbenders (Cryptobranchus allegeniensis allegeniensis) in northern Kentucky. Through renovation of existing facilities and collaboration with state and federal wildlife agencies, collected egg clutches will be raised from hatchlings to juvenile stages under controlled conditions to support long-term species recovery efforts.
