My project is working to educate the public to recycle, lessen their waste, and prevent pollution. The lack of recycling, and pollution of plastic in communities is an educated issue, but not enough to express the importance of it to humans and animals alike. Our goal is to minimize the waste of fresh produce and repurpose it into nutrients for plants at our campus. We started by alerting our peers of the issue and encouraging them to bring their fruit and vegetable scraps to our team. With our social media platform, we were able to spread awareness and share our ideas and goals.
