Project Information
The transportation sector is the single largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S., and electric vehicles (EVs) offer a clear pathway to a cleaner future. Yet, many students and community members still view EVs as distant, impractical, or inaccessible.
This project set out to change that narrative. Through campus surveys, interactive workshops, and collaborations with student government and local EV enthusiasts, we created a conversation around why EVs matter now for climate, for air quality, and for future careers in clean energy.
By combining data-driven research with peer storytelling, our team sparked new interest and shifted the conversation from “EVs are for later” to “EVs are part of our future now.” We invite students, faculty, and community members to join us in continuing this momentum. Together, we can make our campus a living lab for sustainable transportation.
