My Eco-Mission:

I work towards improving availability of environmental education resources and reconnecting youth with the outdoors. It is my hopes that all students early in their life will have the opportunity to access nature in all aspects ranging from outdoor classrooms, environmental education, gardening based learning, and recreational activities. I work to assure that we are offering this type of engagement to enhance a students education and future development.

On a More Serious Note

I am driven to make a difference in the world because:

Every single person's efforts make an impact. The efforts of every individual are important and will make them to be a part of the solution rather than a part of the problem.

My proudest moment working on community projects was:

When I am able to form a connection between nature and a student that wasn't there before. Being able to successfully inspire people towards stewardship and create life long impacts on how they value the earth is always when I am most proud of my achievements.

If I could change one thing about my community it would be:

Awareness. I would change the debate from "are these topics of importance?" to "what can we do to resolve these issues?"
