On February 25, 2016, NWF EcoLeaders presented "The Greenprint for Advancing Sustainability Careers," the third webinar of the 2015-16 leadership and career skills webinar series.
Participants learned about:
- How to infuse sustainability skills education across disciplines, implement work-based and cooperative learning approaches to sustainability skills education, enhance project-based learning opportunities, and assess and catalog community college sustainability skills education initiatives from Linda Petee, the Sustainability & Risk Management Coordinator for Delta College and Stephen Bell, the Executive Director for IL Green Economy Network-IGEN at College of Lake County.
- How the new NWF guide, Greenprint: A Plan to Prepare Community College Students for Careers in the Clean Economy, can help community colleges and student organizations play a role in supporting the nation’s transition to a greener workforce.
- The benefits of registering and participating in the NWF EcoLeaders community.
