Project Goal Summary
The goal of this project is to create edible landscapes in the community as an effort to increase awareness of the value of native and edible plants, promote local food production, and assist in the allieviation of hunger in impoverished areas. This project involves collaboration between Ohio University, Community Food Initiatives (a local non-profit organization aimed at food ecuation and increasing access to healthy food), and the city of Athens.
