Project Goal Summary
The Garden Classroom Project aims to enrich the learning environment at Ohio University by enhancing students' understanding of sustainability through the curriculum, increasing student involvement in sustainability-themed co-curricular activities, and providing opportunities for place-based learning. Courses, workshops, programming, and service projects hosted at the Garden Classroom will provide exploratory, creative, academic, and transformative learning opportunities for Ohio University students and Athens County school students.
