About the Role:  The Environmental Journalist at the Bullard Center for Environmental and Climate Justice will be responsible for researching and writing stories that inform environmental justice communities and the general public about environmental issues and promote environmental awareness and action. About the Role:  The Youth Program Coordinator works under the direction of the Executive Director to plan, execute, assess, and improve high quality youth development programing geared towards creating the next generation of environmental leaders. The Youth Program Coordinator is the Bullard Center’s lead staff person engaging young people ages 15 to 24 and providing support for youth initiatives and oversight.

Black Femme Wellbeing Program Manager

About the Role: The Black Femme Wellbeing Program Manager will develop, launch, and manage the Black Femme Wellbeing Initiative, which will support the wellbeing of Black femmes on the frontlines of climate justice. The Black Femme Wellbeing Program Manager will receive supportive supervision from the Chief Program Officer and may be responsible for supervising associates of the Black Femme Wellbeing program as it grows.

The Institute Associate is a motivated contributor who works on both adaptation and mitigation policy projects in duties that include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting legal analysis
  • Facilitating state engagement processes
  • Providing superior research and writing support
  • Representing GCC at local, state, and national events; and
  • Assisting with the supervision of student research on relevant climate topics
