Deputy Director, HECHO 

The HECHO Deputy Director will assist the Executive Director in implementing HECHO’s strategic roadmap, and where appropriate implement new processes and approaches to achieve it. They will work with the Executive Director, NWF Operations, and Philanthropy staff to diversify and grow HECHO’s revenue streams while effectively managing systems that maintain efficient operations and build synergies between HECHO and NWF. This full-time position will drive efforts to diversify HECHO’s raised revenue sources and assist HECHO’s Executive Director in the operations of the program, and will be a direct supervisor of several staff.

Regional Executive Director, Great Lakes Region

The Regional Executive Director (RED) provides organizational leadership in the Great Lakes Region. The RED collaborates with affiliate partners and other organizations within the region in support of the National Wildlife Federation's strategic plan and our Equity and Justice Strategic Plan. The RED strategically engages NWF Board members and collaborates with regional center staff to help identify and cultivate potential new leaders for NWF. We are seeking a dynamic and engaging leader with a diverse skillset and deep knowledge of the region.

Sr. Agriculture Policy Specialist

The Sr. Agriculture Policy Specialist will advise and assist the Senior Director of Agriculture Policy in NWF’s work on the conservation and climate provisions of the Farm Bill, and other agriculture related legislative and policy issues, working closely with the Agriculture Policy Specialist and Government Affairs team. You will also establish and maintain effective working relationships with congressional representatives and staff, and administration officials and help advance agriculture policy objectives.

Director of Conservation Partnerships, Northern Rockies, Prairies, and Pacific Region

The Director of Conservation Partnerships (DCP) for the NRPP fosters enduring collaborations with the National Wildlife Federation and partners in service of our state and territorial affiliate organizations to create a more inclusive and impactful conservation movement. The Director also develops and implements conservation and education programs and advocacy campaigns in the Northern Rockies, Prairies, and Pacific with affiliates in furtherance of the National Wildlife Federation's strategic plan (A Common Agenda for Wildlife) and our Equity and Justice Strategic Plan.

Accounts Payable Processor

This position is a member of the Accounts Payable team, reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, and is primarily responsible for processing, within the National Wildlife Federation’s (NWF) established policies and procedures, invoices, purchase order payments, expense reimbursements and charges made through NWF’s corporate card program. In addition to these responsibilities, the position also participates in A/P cross training and provides back up support for other A/P functions. Interacts with vendors and NWF staff on a daily basis, and works with every department within NWF in order to process payments efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner.

Northeast Coastal Resilience Program Manager

The Northeast Coastal Resilience Program Manager will work to advance the practical application of natural and nature-based infrastructure to help protect wildlife, natural systems, ecosystem services and human communities from coastal impacts that are being exacerbated by climate change. While the Manager will be working in support of NWF’s Northeast Regional Center (NERC), this position will also work with the Mid-Atlantic Regional Center (MARC) to support cross-regional efforts and is part of a national team at NWF focused on addressing coastal resilience issues of regional and national significance.

Social Media Intern

Our children’s publication team has an exciting opportunity within our Ranger Rick Social Media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. We’re looking for a Social Media Intern currently working on their bachelor’s degree in digital media, marketing or communications.  This person will support our Ranger Rick Children’s Publications team and will be accountable for managing the social media calendar, sourcing and aligning creative/messaging, and delivering/posting on-brand marketing.  Effectively conveying our messages visually and accurately across our social media marketing channels will be critical to our growing success.

Director, Office of the President

The Director of the Office of the President is a key partner to the President and CEO, focusing time on the highest priority strategic initiatives to advance of the Federation’s mission. This position provides executive support and manages the day-to-day operations of the Office of the President (OP). The Director is welcoming and equitable in access to the President and CEO, collaborating with staff across the organization, and engages regularly with Board members, affiliates, donors, external partners, government and administration officials, and the general public.

Education Program Manager, Earth Tomorrow, Houston

To support our mission, NWF’s South Central Education Program in Texas is seeking an inspiring and engaging Program Manager for to launch Earth Tomorrow, Houston. Earth Tomorrow cultivates a new generation of lifetime environmental stewards through a year-long cycle of leadership training, issues exploration, civic engagement, career development, community outreach and education, and student-led community action projects. The Program Manager will have a passion for conservation and Environmental Justice as well as experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds, event planning and project management skills.
