The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Workshop & Roundtable Events have been officially approved by AESS and are on the schedule for the conference! We are excited to organize the panel, but we are worried about attendance at the Diversity Roundtable Event. There have been no good time slots. Currently, we are scheduled for lunch on the 3rd day, and we are hoping that a nominal amount for "free pizza" might be approved by the Board to draw in more people. I am learning that there can be more hurdles to receiving nominal funds as a professional organization than as a student group.
