I am driven to make a difference in the world because:
I have one life to live, and I can either maximize it for doing good or live sedentary. I think that if more people attempted to make themselves better, not for them selves, for others, then we would have a better world. I see my development as an investment for future and current generations.
The greatest skill I bring to a team is:
I think the greatest skill I bring is the challenging of long held notions of how or why something is or should be done. I just like to turn ideas on their head and ask "why not?"
My proudest moment working on community projects was:
I think my proudest moment came when the organization that I am a part of had an application sent out to the whole of campus for specific skill sets that we need to run a team for the Campus Conservation Nationals. We had so many applications that we had reevaluate how many people we needed and figure-out a new structure.
If I could change one thing about my community it would be:
I would love to see people move away from the individualistic life. The small family units in the big house and white picket fences. I would like to see a physical environment change as to what we live in, then, perhaps, cultural change will follow.
