What are your campus plans for Earth Day?

My organization, Environmental Society, is having "Barefoot on the Boulevard" Earth Day festival on campus on April 12th. We're bringing green businesses and nonprofits to campus to show what they do to students. Along with performances and free food! The city of Dallas has a big Earth Day festival on April 26th that SMU participates in. 

Every year since 2010, the LIU Post Sustainability Committee has hosted a luncheon celebration. We provide a free lunch that is made from local and organic ingredients. We present our Sustainable Pioneer awards to various sustainability champions on campus, including students, faculty, and staff. We announce the winner of our Recycling Scholarship (a scholarship completely raised by bottle deposits). And we will host a keynote speaker as well as some class presentations on the topic of sustainability.

This year, we are doing a dinner rather than a luncheon. And it will be on Earth Day!
