I enjoyed making my profile! These are the kind of questions I love to be asked, and it'll be fun to see other people's answers.
I think it will serve as a great networking tool for student environmental leaders. I've been to a few sustainability conferences including AASHE and it's great to network there. However, an online community provides the leaders with an ongoing opportunity to network and learn from one another. That's what I'm looking forward to the most.
I hope this community grows and we will be able to make connections with local and global communities.
I love the fact that even though we are alike in our drive for a better earth, we are so diverse in our views and passions. The sharing aspect is wonderful, I love reading all the wonderful ideas and trying to assimilate then into our campus. It would be wonderful if we could find a way to make a list of available conferences, so that students interested might attend. Finally, I would like to see this become a true global community one where we are sharing thoughts and ideas for the betterment of all humanity.
I enjoy the projects tab, because it really helps us learn what other student leaders are doing around the country. I really like the map a lot too, I plan to use it when I travel so I can reach out to the leaders in the area to learn more about their projects.
As people have mentioned before, I love that this seems to be a platform for collaboration too, which seems to be lacking on other sites I've visited. I'd like to see a blog feature, or more customizable forums if any of use were to decide to use this site to plan collaborative projects.
I like that it provides a forum for sustainability-minded students to connect. There's a chance that it can help to keep discussions alive following environmental conferences, like Smart and Sustainable Schools. It also allowes for students at different universities to connect who may not have had the opportunity to do so otherwise!
