Lead Back-End Developer

We are looking for an e-commerce backend developer for new Garden for Wildlife™ Enterprise (GFWE) on-site or remotely. The ideal candidate is a self-driven and independent developer who is excited about building efficient and scalable systems in a cloud-based environment from vision to production-ready. We currently use three Salesforce orgs, including Experience cloud, Nonprofit cloud, and Marketing cloud.

AVP, Public Health and Economic Justice Policy

To support our ability to connect frontline and fence-line communities with decision-makers on a national and international scale, we seek to hire an Associate Vice President of Public Health and Economic Justice Policy to join our team in Washington, D.C. In addition to a commitment to advance racial and economic justice across organization-wide policies, the Associate Vice President will play a critical role in establishing policy and advocacy priorities across the Federation that center the voices and priorities of historically marginalized communities in collaboration with the environmental justice team.

Senior Marketing Manager

To meet our needs we are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to play a critical role in building the National Wildlife Federation brand by designing and executing marketing strategies that attract new, younger, diverse audiences, deepen consumer engagement and loyalty, and increase membership, licensees, donors, and sponsorships.

Creative Studio Project Manager

As our creative studio project manager, you will manage various creative projects from start to finish. You are well-organized, people-oriented, and a great communicator, working proactively to guide the creative team toward project completion. You will work with the creative team to forecast/estimate design hours, build and manage project schedules, and ensure the creative team receives project documents and content and project owners review, provide feedback, and approve the design on time throughout the process.

Associate General Counsel

We are seeking a full-time Attorney to join our Office of General Counsel, headquartered out of our Reston, VA.  You will report to the General Counsel and provide in-house legal advice in a true generalist role but with a primary focus on employment law matters.  We are looking for an attorney who will be excited by our mission, who seeks to be a thought leader, who is a strong communicator, and who is able to collaborate closely with multiple departments and teams.  This person will always be thinking in terms of overall benefit to the Federation as a whole while serving and being contributing to the expertise and skills of the legal team.

Senior Coordinator, International Communications and Media

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the communications and multi-media work associated with a project that aims to reduce deforestation and habitat loss driven by the expansion of cattle production in Brazil and Paraguay. You will work closely alongside NWF’s International team and Communications team to develop and implement communications plans, conduct outreach to journalists and media, produce written content, develop stakeholder engagement materials, manage social media accounts and microsites, and help contribute to the overall success of the project.

Policy Specialist, Resilient Coasts and Floodplains

In this role, you will advise and assist the director in implementing the efforts of NWF’s Water and Coasts federal policy campaigns.  Primary responsibilities will include: helping to lead NWF’s federal policy work to achieve the organization’s Water for Wildlife and Coasts strategic plan goal and strategies; serving as an NWF policy representative on key coalitions; conducting policy research and providing support and coordination assistance for other NWF Water and Coasts team priorities as needed, and collaborating with and supporting lobby team and NWF policy staff to further key legislative goals and priorities.

Digital Engagement Coordinator

In this role, you will help to develop and implement an over-arching digital engagement strategy for the region, focused on storytelling and outreach through digital platforms.  Your communications and engagement will primarily focus on work done by NWF’s Early Childhood Health Outdoors and Tribal Partnerships programs, but will also seek to build support for all of RMRC’s programs and priorities, including promotion of Hispanics Enjoying Camping, Hunting and the Outdoors (HECHO), other NWF work occurring in the region, as well as leveraging NWF’s platforms to support community partners.

Drinking Water Policy Coordinator

As our Drinking Water Policy Coordinator you will coordinate campaigns focused on water infrastructure and affordability, access to clean water for all, and threats to drinking water and wildlife from emerging chemicals of concern (like PFAS). This work will include coordinating closely with the many Coalitions and Networks NWF is involved in to ensure strategic alignment and collaboration on drinking water issues at the state and federal levels.

Communications Manager

We are seeking a Communications Manager who is a strategic communications professional proficient at developing and implementing compelling messages, uplifting strong messengers, and using targeted communications vehicles to support our advocacy and education campaigns. Working with our program staff, the key responsibilities are to both develop strategic direction for major communications needs and to produce targeted content that highlights our work for key audiences, effectively using social and traditional media and a wide range of communications.

Campaign Manager Offshore Wind Energy

The Offshore Wind Energy Program seeks to hire a Campaign Manager to lead significant portions of state, regional, and federal offshore wind campaigns. In this role, you will assist in campaign strategy and planning, collaborate with and support the Program Director in the implementation of priority campaign activities, lead select state campaign activities, and cultivate new and existing partnerships.
