Project teams can apply together to earn EcoLeader Project Certification. This is an important step in your project-based leadership journey and helps quantify and illustrate the impact of your great work!

Once your team has created and completed a project in the EcoLeaders community, you will be eligible to complete the project certification application.
Through the Project Certification application, teams will be asked to provide details around the project process and impact. The application follows the same project phases detailed in the project planning template.

Once you've applied for and earned EcoLeader Project Certification, the next step is to apply for EcoLeader Certification. This helps to explore how you've grown personally as a leader and to consider how your project leadership experience has set you up for success in the future!

Through the EcoLeader Certification application, you will be asked to complete a set of core requirements including:
- Building out your EcoLeader Profile and EcoMission
- Completing your core learning tasks
- Engaging in the EcoLeader community
- Identifying a project endorser -- this could be a teacher, staff, or mentor who is familiar with your project leadership and is willing to support your career and civic endeavors and to serve as a reference for opportunities in the future.
