Ask Me About
Eco-Mission
My Eco-Mission:
I have always been passionate about the environment, from watching Fern Gully and playing in the mud, to studying Environmental Studies and hosting Sustainable Tuesdays workshops and everything in between. I am a vegetarian and an very concieous about what I leave behind each and every day. My Eco-Mission is to encourage others to think about their ecological footprint and take every possible step to reducing it-every bit counts!
My Fun Side
My favorite planet friendly activity is:
beach volleyball!
One of my eco-guilty pleasures is:
Reese's peanut butter cups.
If I were an animal, I would be:
My favorite wild place is:
My favorite way to get outdoors is:
get my friends to join me!
On a More Serious Note
I am driven to make a difference in the world because:
I can.
The greatest skill I bring to a team is:
excellent leadership skills, with the ability to listen and a mindset that can get ideas moving.
My proudest moment working on community projects was:
when a Girl Scout Troop came up to me to thank me on hosting an event about natural products. They learned new things at a very important age about how what we put on our bodies is just as important as what we put in them.
If I could change one thing about my community it would be:
to increase our town/gown relationship. Getting to know where you are getting your education can be just important as the education itself. I love Bemidji- it is gorgeous with the lakes, forests, and wildlife around the campus.
