My Eco-Mission:
I often think about how fortunate I am that as a child I was able to go camping and exploring in so many landscapes across the country. The thin, crisp air of the mountains, the way towering trees turn roadways into tunnels, the power of giant waterfalls—all of these things I love about the wilderness have filled me with inspiration throughout my entire life, and I don't want to live in a world where children don't even have the option to experience these things. I believe that working to protect the environment is one of the most important things I can do right now to save the future of not only countless endangered species, but all of mankind as well.

On a More Serious Note
If I could change one thing about my community it would be:
people's minds. A lot of people don't think that they can do anything to create change or don't see themselves as leaders, but everyone has the power to stand up and reach out. I want to show others that anyone can get involved in a movement and that social change isn't some big abstract thing that only a few people can be a part of. Everyone can be an active citizen and do their part, and change isn't as impossible or intangible as it may seem.
