As a recent graduate from Connecticut College and a recipient of the Goodwin-Niering Center Certificate in conservation biology and environmental studies, I am passionate about triple bottom line issues, marine ecology, and providing a voice for those in our global society suffering from environmental injustice. I am particularly interested in food security on island nations as reflected through my experiences at the Island School in the Bahamas and the Center for Marine Resource Studies in the Turks and Caicos Islands. I interned at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Washington D.C. in their Office of National Marine Sanctuaries during the summer of 2017 and just completed a Tropical Marine Biology internship at the Cape Eleuthera Institute. I am currently seeking career advice and opportunities.
