Campus Trees: Growing Green

Project Goal Summary
The goal of this project was to demonstrate that all of the beautiful trees Lewis University has on its campus serve a purpose far beyond campus beautification; they are hard at work! They offer water retention, carbon sequestration, habitats, property value, and more! We wanted students, faculty, and staff to look at a tree and not only think, "Wow, this is beautiful," but also, "Think of the infrastruction we would have to impose if the trees were not here to retain this water and hold this soil..."
