Project Goal Summary
Our main goal is to restore prairies on our campus to make our campus (Lewis University) more natural and enhance the natural beauty. We would also like to restore the environment and get more students involved in nature. We have a plot of land that our prairie is going to be planted in. We collected seeds from the existing bioswales on campus so the seeds have been harvested right off our campus. We plan to plant in the winter time and we are also planting plugs so we have more of a variety and more opportunity to plant more of these species.
